I have this ring engraved and the larger "shield" size and in this smaller one. If you want a more artsy/chunky look, consider the larger version of this ring, which allows for more text - even if you don't need the room for text. Both are gorgeous and perfect. The lettering is a just as pictured. The black fill makes it legible and is delicate. I highly recommend all of Kober's jewelry! I've ordered other items and she is wonderful to buy from. Quick to respond and ship. I ordered this as a gift for myself before Christmas. I did not expect it to come by the holiday as it was very close timing.
